The Paradip firm - OSL MD booked over the murder of the GM of rival Stevedore company. To be questioned by police soon.

Paradip: Noted businessman and Managing Director of Odisha Stevedores Limited ( OSL)Mahimananda Mishra has been booked in a murder case by Paradip police.
On Wednesday the General Manager of Seaways and Logistics Limited- Mahendra Swain was shot dead by hired goons. The slain GM''s brother Raj Kishore Swain has lodged an FIR in Paradip police station that he suspect the role of Mahimananda Mishra and three of his employees in OSL involvement behind the murder of his brother. Basing on the FIR police has registered a case of murder against Mahimananda and his three employees- Basant Kumar Bal, Subash Acharya and Devi Tripathy.
Top police sources has confirmed Ommcom News that the case has been registered against Mahimananda and three employees of OSL and they would soon be questioned.
Police sources said that their priority now is to arrest the hired goons involved in the murder and after that basing on the links established Mahimananda and the three others named in FIR might be arrested.
The FIR says the murder is due to the fallout of business rivalry between OSL and SSLL over stevedoing operation in Paradip port since last year as many big companies like JSPL answer SAIL had engaged SSLL for handling their cargo from port harbour to rail rakes. SSLL had got the contract through global tender. But many rival Stevedores company in Paradip were opposing SSLL and were threatening it's GM since long for which he had sought police protection.
Ommcom News had tried but was unable to get the reaction of OSL on the charges made against them till this report was filed.
