Arrested prime conspirator Rakesh Choubey is an associate of OSL

Paradip: Noted businessman Mahimananda Mishra will be arrested anytime now as the police has enough evidence against him in the murder case of Mahendra Swain, GM, Seaways Shipping and Logistics Limited.
S.Priyadarshi, IG, Central Ranges spoke exclusively to Ommcom News and said that the arrested prime conspirator Rakesh Choubey is an associate of OSL . There is enough evidence to prove that Rakesh Choubey was engaged by OSL. There are photographs of him travelling in OSL private plane also.
Mahimananda Mishra is absconding and all efforts are being made to arrest him immediately, the IG added.
“The miscreant who hurled bombs and shot at Mahendra Swain is identified as Riyasat Hussain aided by Mohammad Shamin. They along with Rakesh are from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand while the other two conduits who facilitated them are identified as Siba and Manoj Gochhayat from Cuttack “ informed S Priyadarshi, Central Range IG at the press conference.
"3 guns, 50 rounds of ammunition , 2 bikes and an auto, SUV having Jharkhand registration numbers have been seized from the possession of the accused," added the Central Range IG.
He was also of the opinion that the police was just 40 percent successful in this operation and the persons nabbed are a part of the conspiracy.
It may be recalled that on October 26, two miscreants had shot dead the GM of Seaways Shipping and Logistics Limited, Mahendra Swain after which his brother had filed an FIR against of Mahimananda Mishra and three of his employees in OSL for their alleged involvement behind the murder.
Over a fortnight ago, Jagatsinghpur police had issued a lookout circular against Mahimananda Mishra and three other officials of the stevedoring company – Basant Kumar Bal, Subash Acharya and Debi Prasad Tripathy.
Meanwhile, raids were conducted at OSL’s Paradip, Angul and Joda offices by two special teams of the Paradip police. The houses of the three accomplices were also raided and their personal accounts were seized in Paradip.
