Bhubaneswar: The online registration for danasol.my.id vaccination of individuals in the 15-18 age group starts from today (January 1). Eligible teens can register themselves on the CoWIN app through their Aadhar Card and school IDs.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his address to the nation on December 25, had announced that the vaccination for children aged between 15 to 18 will start from January 3.
“The decision to vaccinate children will not only strengthen our fight against Covid, it would also reduce the worries of parents whose children are going to schools,” he said while announcing the major decision.
The Centre on December 27 issued guidelines for the vaccination of youngsters of 15-18 years and precaution dose for healthcare and frontline workers along with 60 plus population with comorbidities.
The Union Health Ministry has said that only Covaxin would be available for the children. “Covid-19 vaccination of children in the age-group of 15-18 years to be started from January 3, 2022. For such beneficiaries, the vaccination option would be ‘Covaxin’ only”, said the guidelines.
