Rayagada: A man died following a scuffle with his neighbours over release of drain water. Such an incident has occurred at Harijan Sahi in Kumbhikota village under Sadar police limits of Rayagada district.
Reportedly, the families of Ajay Khosla and Gorekha Khora of the village were at loggerheads over the release of drain water. Today, a fight broke out between the two houses over the incident.
During clashes between the two neighbors, Ajay fainted on the spot. He was rushed to the local Primary Health Centre (CHC) where the doctor declared him dead.
On getting information, Rayagada Police reached the spot and initiated a probe into the matter. Police also seized Ajay’s body and sent it to the district headquarters hospital for post-mortem.
As per the last reports, Ajay’s family had lodged a complaint with the Rayagada Police against four persons involved in the incident.
