Bhubaneswar: The Summative Assessment 1 of Class 10 students in Odisha commenced at 3,093 examination centres today amid strict COVID-19 protocols.
A total of 5,76,223 students are to appear for the examination that will be held for four days with two sittings (10 AM-11 AM and 12 PM-1 PM) on each day.
Vice-President of Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, Nihar Ranjan Mohanty, had yesterday informed that the examination will be held under tight security.
All examination centres will be sanitized daily, and directions have been issued to follow Covid protocols.
While the Board has constituted 40 squads to supervise the examination, the DEOs have also constituted 62 squads at their levels.
Further, District Collectors have also been asked to send their officials to examination centres for supervision.
