Omicron Update: 24 More Cases Confirmed, State Tally Rises To 61

Bhubaneswar: With 24 more Omicron cases confirmed by Institute of Life Sciences (ILS) on Wednesday, Odisha’s (case) tally of the new variant of COVID-19 has surged to 61. Total 218 samples of COVID positive patients were sent for genome sequencing out of which 24 were found positive for Omicron, the ILS informed the Health Department.
