Bhubaneswar: India registered 1,68,063 fresh Covid cases and 277 deaths in the last 24 hours, said the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare on Tuesday.
Among the new cases, 4,033 are cases of Omicron. With the addition of the new deaths, the toll has reached 4,84,213.
The recovery of 69,959 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally to 3,45,70,131. India’s active caseload is presently at 821446, with the Daily Positivity rate at 13.29%.
With the administration of 92,07,700 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid inoculation coverage has reached 1,52,89,70,294 as of Tuesday morning.
