Bhubaneswar: India registered 2,47,417 fresh Covid cases and 380 deaths in the last 24 hours, said the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare on Thursday.
Among the new cases, 5,488 are cases of Omicron. With the addition of the new deaths, the toll has reached 485,035.
The recovery of 84,825 patients in the last 24 hours has increased the cumulative tally to 3,47,15,361. India’s active caseload is presently at 11,17,531, with the Daily Positivity rate at 13.11%.
With the administration of 76,32,024 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid inoculation coverage has reached 1,54,61,39,465 as of Thursday morning.
