Dhenkanal: A wild boar allegedly bit off a youth’s genital and injured eight other persons at Baghamunda village in Muktapasi section under Kamakhyanagar forest range in Dhenkanal district on Thursday.
Reportedly, some persons were soaking fire in the village today morning when a wild boar attacked them. It bit off the genital of one youth and also inflicted injuries on the hand and thigh of two other persons.
Six other persons also sustained minor injuries in the attack. All nine injured persons were first rushed to the Community Health Center (CHC), Parjang, from where they were shifted to Sub-divisional Hospital, Kamakhyanagar.
