Bhubaneswar: The transmission of Covid-19 in Odisha is on a downward trend since January 12, said Health Services Director Bijay Mohapatra on Tuesday.
If the trend persists, it is right to say that the surge is declining, he added.
Mohapatra further informed that as per the last trend, the number of cases was in four figures for many days. So, the days needed to reach single or three figures can’t be predicted.
If the trend persists we can assume that we have crossed the third wave peak, he added.
