Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed his condolences on the demise of former Bijepur MLA Rajeev Lochan Hota.
ବରଗଡ଼ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ବିଜେପୁର ନିର୍ବାଚନ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀର ପୂର୍ବତନ ବିଧାୟକ ରାଜୀବ ଲୋଚନ ହୋତାଙ୍କ ଦେହାନ୍ତ ବିଷୟରେ ଜାଣି ମୁଁ ଦୁଃଖିତ। ତାଙ୍କ ଅମର ଆତ୍ମାର ସଦଗତି କାମନା କରିବା ସହ ଶୋକସନ୍ତପ୍ତ ପରିବାର ସଦସ୍ୟଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ମୋର ସମବେଦନା ଜଣାଉଛି।

Reportedly, Hota (86) had been admitted to a private hospital in Bargarh yesterday after his health condition deteriorated. He breathed his last at around 6 PM.
Born in 1935, Hota joined politics in his student days. He was Barpali Block Chairman in 1967.
He has been Bijepur MLA from 1980 to 1985 after winning the Assembly election on the Congress party ticket.
