No Khandagiri Mela In Bhubaneswar This Year Too

Bhubaneswar: The Magha Saptami Mela organized at Khanadgiri every year, popularly known as the Khandagiri Kumbha Mela may not be held this year also in view of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Last year, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) had announced the cancellation of the Mela citing possible violation of COVID-19 guidelines at the event.

The civic body had however stated that the usual rituals that are being observed in relation to Magha Saptami may be done with strict adherence to COVID-19 safety protocols.
