Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate rainfall is very likely to occur in some parts of the State in the first week of February, the Indian Meteorological Department informed.
Senior Scientist, Dr Sanjeev Dwivedi of IMD, Bhubaneswar said due to the impact of Western Disturbance, few parts of Odisha will experience light to moderate rainfall.
“Due to the western disturbance, from February 3 onwards, light to moderate rainfall and thundershower accompanied by fog is very likely in north interior Odisha and Sonepur district,” said Dwivedy.
There is no weather system over Odisha for the next four days, and the State will experience dry and cold weather. During the next 24 hours, cold wave warning has been issued for north and western Odisha districts.
