Bargarh: After a long time Maoist posters and banners were found along the Biju Expressway near Bhuliabandh village under Paikamal block of Bargarh district.
Sudden surfacing of the banners before the panchayat polls has caused anxiety among the locals. Maoists have made their presence felt in the area after a long gap.
In the banners, the Bargarh-Bolangir-Mahasamund Division of the outlawed CPI(Maoist) has urged the people to boycott panchayat elections.
Police have seized the banners and have launched an investigation.
