Bhubaneswar: The School and Mass Education Department has issued a notice to a private school here over making offline examinations compulsory for students.
According to a press release shared by the Information and Public Relations Department on Wednesday, the aforementioned school has violated the guideline issued by the State Government for allowing students to opt between online, offline and hybrid mode of studies and appearing examinations.
The press note stated that the school had asked students to compulsorily appear for the ‘Period Assessment Test’ scheduled to begin from February 12 in offline mode. The Director of Secondary Education, Satyaranjan Sahu has issued a notice to the school and sought an explanation on this matter.
