Genome Sequencing Reveals Presence Of Omicron Variant In Nearly 98% Samples In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Genome sequencing of nearly 98% of Covid-19 samples from Odisha done between January 27 to February 4 has been found to be of Omicron variant.

Genome sequencing of as many as 235 Covid-19 samples out of 241 conducted by the Institute of Life Sciences (ILS) has been found to be of the Omicron variant, according to the genome sequencing report released by ILS today.
