Bhubaneswar: Vigilance today arrested Deputy Manager of Samaleswari Milk Union Ltd (SAMUL) Kishore Kumar Naik and Forest Range Officer of K Nuagaon Bairagi Charan Behera for possession of disproportionate assets (DA) to their known sources of income.
Cases have been registered against the two under various sections of the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act of 2018.
While Naik has been forwarded to the Court of Special Judge Vigilance Sambalpur following his arrest, Behera has been forwarded to the Court of Special Judge Phulbani.
Both have been remanded to judicial custody.
