Dhenkanal: A woman in Surapratappur village in Dhenkanal district today morning sustained critical burn injuries when her sari caught fire while she was sitting near a bonfire to keep herself warm against the winter chill.
According to reports, the woman identified as Sima Rout of Surapratappur village who sustained severe burn injuries was immediately rushed to Kamakshyanagar Sub Divisional Hospital.
Sima who has sustained nearly 70% burns was shifted to SCB Medical College & Hospital at Cuttack as her condition deteriorated.
