Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s promising young tennis player Debasis Sahoo has won the AITA National Series Tournament. Sahoo, bagged the title of Boy’s Singles Champion in the tournament held at Sania Mirza Tennis Academy in Hyderabad.
Sahoo had also emerged champion at AITA Under-16 Super Series Tournament held in December 2021, at Ahmedabad. In the same series, the promising tennis talent had won the doubles crown in under-18 category.
The Sports Department congratulated Sahoo on the occasion. The Department tweeted:
“Hearty congratulations to #Odisha’s promising #tennis talent, Debasis Sahoo, on being crowned the U18 boy’s singles champion in the AITA National Series Tournament at #SaniaMirza Tennis Academy, #Hyderabad.”
