Soro: In a shocking incident, a 13-year-old boy in Dakshin Narasinghpur panchayat under Nilagiri police limits in Oupada block of Balasore district committed suicide by hanging after his father failed to get him chow mien immediately to eat.
According to reports, on Wednesday night the child insisted his father to get chow mein to eat.
However, as the child’s father was on his way to join work, he promised to get chow mien the next day.
The deceased, a class VIII student shut the door behind him under the pretext of studying.
However, as he did not open the door for a long time, his family members broke open the door to find him hanging from the ceiling fan.
They rushed him to the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Khantapada where he was declared brought dead by the attending doctors.
