Koraput: By the end of nine rounds of counting, independent candidate from Kotia contesting for Pottangi Zilla Parishad Zone Tikai Gemel was leading against her rival all-party candidate Mamata Jani by 2809 votes.
While Gemel has managed to secure 8,568 votes, Jani has secured 5,759 votes.
