Bhubaneswar: One more person succumbed to COVID-19 in Odisha on Tuesday. According to the Health and Family Welfare Department, the death a 57-year-old man of Puri district has been confirmed as a COVID fatality.
The deceased person was suffering from rheumatic heart disease and a chronic kidney ailment. With this, the COVID toll of Odisha rose to 9,102.
The most number of COVID deaths have been reported from Khurda (1,747), followed by Cuttack (906) and Sundergarh (670). In Puri, 487 persons have died due to COVID and 510 in Ganjam district.
