Koraput: Six bogies of a goods train derailed near Bheja, around 25 kilometres away from Koraput Junction railway station late Thursday night.
Reportedly, the train was carrying coal from Kirandul to Vishakhapatnam. Due to the derailment, train services were affected on the route including the cancellation of Visakhapatnam-Kirandul Express.
While the cause of the accident is unknown, no casualty was reported. On getting information, railway staff arrived at the scene and initiated the restoration operation.
