Nayagarh: The body of a missing person was found in a jungle on the outskirts of Badhipatna village in Narendrapur panchayat under Ranapur police limits.
The body had to be exhumed after the police and forensic teams got leads about the remains hidden underground. The deceased, Manas Swain (28) was a native of Godi Pokhari village under Ranapur police limits.
Swain, a cameraman had been missing since February 5 following which his family had lodged a police complaint. Ranapur police have registered a murder case and started investigation.
