Bhawanipatna: A video of a doctor beating a patient has gone viral on social media. The incident reportedly occurred at Dharamgarh Sub Divisional Hospital in Kalahandi district on Sunday night.
As per sources, an argument had broken between the patient from Bastipada of Dharamgarh and the doctor identified as Sailesh Kumar Dora at the hospital yesterday. Following it, Dora thrashed the patient.
While both parties have lodged cross FIRs about the same incident, the patient’s relatives have staged a road blockade demanding action against the doctor.
