Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate Police on Thursday arrested fake doctor Ramesh Swain’s driver Pappu from Ranpur area in Nayagarh.
Pappu had reportedly helped Swain in many fraudulent activities. He was absconding following the arrest of the latter.
Police is said to have taken Pappu to an undisclosed location where he is being interrogated in connection with the crimes committed by Swain.
Yesterday, Swain had undergone a polygraph test for about five hours during which he was believed to have been subjected to more than 50 questions.
Bhubaneswar DCP Umashankar Dash had earlier informed that Swain is hiding many facts and Police will seek permission to conduct a polygraph test.
