Kamakshyanagar: A biker died in an accident at Batagaon under Kankadahada block in Dhenkanal district on Wednesday.
The deceased identified as Rama Chandra Pradhan (48) of Rodanga village was returning home on his motorcycle from Batagaon when he met with an accident and was grievously hurt.
According to reports, after Pradhan had travelled a little distance from Batagaon, his bike skidded off into a roadside ditch as a result of he was thrown a few metres away from the spot and was seriously injured.
Locals rushed him to the Sub Divisional Hospital here where he was declared dead by the doctors.
