Bhubaneswar: Heatwave conditions are very likely to prevail at a few places in Odisha from March 30 to April 1, predicted the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday.
Maximum temperature (Day temperature) is very likely to rise gradually by 2 to 3 degrees during the next 3 days and no large change thereafter.
It will be above normal by 3 to 5 degrees at many places over the districts of Odisha during the next 3 to 4 days over districts of interior Odisha.
As per the IMD, heatwave condition is very likely to prevail at one or two places over the
districts of Mayurbhanj, Bargarh, Sonepur, Boudh, and Bolangir on March 30.
Similar conditions are to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Sambalpur, Bargarh, Sonepur, Boudh, Bolangir, Angul, and Kalahandi on March 31 and April 1.
