Bhubaneswar: Heat wave conditions are prevailing in some districts over interior Odisha with maximum temperature recorded as more than 40⁰C at some places and above normal by 3-5⁰C at many places on Thursday.
While there will be no large change in maximum temperature during the next three days across Odisha, it will slightly fall by two degrees in the subsequent two days over districts of interior Odisha, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD)
The maximum temperature is very likely to be above normal by 3 to 5 degrees at many places over the districts of interior Odisha during the next 3 days, it added.
The weather agency has warned that heat wave condition is very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Sonepur, Boudh, Bolangir, and Kalahandi till April 1.
It has advised taking precautionary measures for hot weather while going
outside during midday time (around 12 to 3 PM) in these areas.
