Rayagada: A band of 10 robbers looted gold and silver ornaments worth lakhs of rupees and Rs 30,000 cash from a house at Sai Priya Nagar under Rayagada Police Station late Friday night.
Reportedly, the gang had broken into the house of M. Venkat Rao through a window. Eight of them tied up the family members and carried out the loot while two others stayed guard outside the house.
After receiving a complaint in this regard today morning, Rayagada Police along with the scientific team and dog squad reached the spot and began a probe into the matter.
