Puri: International Sand Artist Manas Kumar Sahoo has created a sand sculpture near the Light House at Puri beach on the occasion of World Health Day.
Sahoo tried to create awareness among people to maintain healthy lifestyle by practicing yoga and regular workouts.
Sahoo urged people to have nutritious food on a daily basis. “By this we ourselves stay healthy & also create a healthy environment,” he said.
The art depicts an environment where people build a healthy lifestyle following a disciplined schedule. The sand art is 18 feet wide and about 15 tons of sand has been used to make it,
“It took me about seven hours to sculpt it. The message embedded i the art is ‘World Health Day – Your Health is in your Hands’,” said Sahoo.
