Balasore: The body of a man was found hanging at the house of his in-laws in Bilabakia under Soro police limits of Balasore district last night. Family members have alleged he committed suicide.
The deceased, identified as Karunakar Khanda of Mulising village reportedly had a fight with his wife last night. Following it, his wife slept on the verandah living him alone in the bedroom.
As he did not open the bedroom door today morning, his wife looked through the window to find Karunakar hanging from the ceiling with a towel around his neck.
On getting information, Soro Police rushed to the spot, broke the door in the presence of a magistrate, and recovered the body. While the body was sent for post-mortem, a case in this regard has been registered at Soro Police Station.
