Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nawarangpur, Nuapada, Rayagada, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, and Keonjhar during the next 24 hours, according to the latest bulletin of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of the State during the same period, the IMD bulletin added.
In Bhubaneswar and its neighbourhood, the sky will be mainly clear and become partly cloudy towards the afternoon. The maximum and minimum temperature is very likely to be around 42 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.
The IMD has cautioned that maximum temperature is very likely to gradually rise by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius at many places over the districts of interior Odisha and no large change over coastal Odisha during the next 3 days and also no large change thereafter over the districts of Odisha.
