Subarnapur: A girl studying in Class X was attacked while saving her uncle from some miscreants at Chulimala village under Bhandara panchayat in Subarnapur district on Tuesday.
The girl identified as Swagitika Bag, daughter of Banabas Bag of the village, was going to her school to collect her admit card for the upcoming matriculation examination when she saw her uncle being attacked by some neighbours.
She attempted to save her uncle when she was also attacked on her head with wooden planks. She was later admitted to Binika Community Health Centre (CHC) in a critical condition.
