Khordha: An illegal arms factory running in a forest near Damanbhuin village in Jankia Tehsil of Khordha district was busted with the arrest of two persons, informed police on Wednesday.
The accused are identified as Dilip Kumar Das of Narendrapur village under Banpur block of Khordha and Trilochan Behera of Langaleswar village under Khallikote block of Ganjam district.
Three country-made pistols and six rounds of live bullets were seized from their possession. Various arms were also seized from the factory.
Khordha SP Alekh Chandra Pahi informed that over 25 cases have been registered against the two accused at various police stations.
