Bhawanipatna: One person died while several others were injured after a vehicle carrying DJ equipment overturned during a procession near Bandakutra in Junagarh block of Kalahandi district late Friday night.
The deceased has been identified as Prafulla Bag of Nuapada district. All the injured are presently undergoing treatment at the District Headquarters Hospital in Bhawanipatna.
Reportedly, Maa Melody Band Party of Junagarh had gone to Golamunda last night for a marriage procession. The tragedy occurred when they were returning.
