New Delhi: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik denied discussing the forthcoming Presidential election with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his meeting with the latter today.
“Nothing was discussed on the Presidential election,” said Patnaik responding to a query from reporters on whether the Presidential election figured during his meeting with Modi.
Patnaik informed that he paid a courtesy call on the Prime Minister.
“I haven’t been able to meet him because of the pandemic, so I paid a courtesy call on him today,” he said.
The Chief Minister stated that he discussed several issues regarding Odisha and sought the Prime Minister’s help on these.
“We discussed several issues regarding Odisha and asked for his help,” Patnaik said.
He said that he will be also paying a courtesy call on Home Minister Amit Shah in the evening today.
Patnaik had left for New Delhi on a three-day official trip today morning.
