Bhubaneswar: Organisational Secretary of BJD Pranab Prakash Das and Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian visited Puri and offered prayers at Jagannath temple on Friday. They reached Puri an hour after Supreme Court dismissed a PIL seeking stay order on the Srimandir Parikrama Project.
Pandian was accompanied by Collector Samarth Verma and Superintendent of Police Dr KV Singh to the century-old shrine. Speaking to mediapersons after darshan, Das said that the decision of the Supreme Court is in itself an order from Lord Jagannath.
“The Srimandir Parikrama Project is a work dedicated to the Almighty and we all should cooperate to ensure the successful completion of the project,” he added.
