Bhubaneswar: The state is not going to get any respite from sweltering heat at least till June 10. According to the IMD, humid conditions will prevail along the coastal districts while the western belt of Odisha will experience a heatwave from June 8 to 10.
On Tuesday, eight stations in the State experienced more than 40 degrees maximum temperature. The hottest place today was Boudh at 42.5 degrees Celcius followed by Nuapada (42.4 degrees).
The other places which experienced high temperatures today are: Jajpur (40), Baripada (40), Jharsuguda (41.6), Sambalpur (41), Sundergarh (42), Nayagarh (40).
