Bhubaneswar: The STF has sent a detailed proposal to office of the Competent Authority, Kolkata for seizure of property of a Bhubaneswar-based drug peddler.
The accused, Sk Jamsed alias Jamal of Haladipadia Slum under Laxmisagar police limits owns property to the tune of Rs 1.32 crore. He has allegedly acquired these assets by proceeds from drug trade, the STF said.
The STF had registered a case against Jamal after seizure of 1.227 kg brown sugar in February this year. His seized property includes a three storied building at Jharpada. The building has been evaluated by PWD R&B, Bhubaneswar.
