Cuttack: Excise officials seized 172 kg ganja from two vehicles near the toll plaza at Bandalo on the national highway (NH)-16 and arrested three persons in this connection.
The contraband was hidden in the stepneys of the vehicles, Excise department sources said.
While one of the vehicles was en route to Bihar from Secunderabad, the other vehicle was en route to Bihar from Odisha’s Kandhamal district, the sources added.
