Bhubaneswar: The proverb ‘Where there is a will there’s a way’ has been once again proved to be correct, Angada Kanhar, the 58-year-old BJD lawmaker from Phulbani has successfully cleared the High School Certificate or Class 10 State board examination the result of which was announced today.
Kanhar is among the 5,17,847 students who have cleared the High School Certificate examination.
He has secured 364 marks in the examination, sources said.
He had earlier said that in 1978 he could not appear the HSC examination owing to a variety of family problems.
He had said that when he came to know that people had appeared the exam at an age of 50-60-70 he had felt an urge within him to sit for the exam.
