Rayagada: Five persons of Rayagada are among the hundreds of pilgrims stranded following the cloud burst on Friday evening during Amarnath Yatra in Jammu-Kashmir.
They are Basant Senapati, Soumya Ranjan Patra, Nihar Ranjan Patra, K Ravi Kumar and Tukuna Pradhan.
“Luckily we are saved while our camping tent and other belongings have been washed away in the flash flood on Friday evening,” informed Basant Senapati.
The survivors have released a mobile video in which they have appealed to the Odisha government and Rayagada district administration for their safe rescue.
