Balasore: A group of miscreants attacked staff of a petrol pump in Soro and fled with cash of Rs 30,000. CCTVs installed at the site revealed that three bike-borne youths arrived on the pretext of refilling their vehicle and threatened the staffers.
They ransacked the premises, looted money from the cash box and fled. Two employees of the petrol pump sustained injuries during the fist-off. Sources said, the trio was involved in an argument with the staff over change currency.
This led to a violent scuffle between the two sides in which the employees were injured. Police have registered a case and examining CCTV footage. A manhunt has been launched to nab the accused.
