Bhubaneswar: The administration of precaution doses of COVID-19 vaccine, free of cost, will for the age group 18 to 59, will begin in Bhubaneswar from today onwards.
As a part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the free doses of COVID vaccine will be administered to people for the next 75 days, i.e. till September 30.
Municipal Commissioner, Vijay Amruta Kulange will launch the campaign, from Unit 4, Urban Community Health Centre along with Director, Family Welfare and other Health and Municipal officials today.
In Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) area, following are the vaccination centres:
Capital Hospital;
BMC Hospital, UCHC;
Unit 4, UCHC;
Patia, UCHC;
Dumduma, UCHC;
Unit – 8, UPHC;
IRC Village, UPHC;
Ghatikia, UPHC;
AIIMS, Bhubaneswar;
Sahid Nagar, UPHC;
Samantapuri, UPHC; and
Kalpana, UPHC.
