Balasore: An elephant was found dead in the backyard of a house at Baragadia in Nilagiri block of Balasore district on Sunday night.
Reportedly, the elephant was found dead in the backyard of the house of one Purusottam Singh. On getting information, forest department officials reached the spot.
While the exact reason of the elephant’s death is yet to be ascertained, a probe has been initiated into the matter.
