Angul: The two under-trial prisoners, who had escaped by jumping the boundary wall of Pallahara Sub-Jail in Angul district on Monday night, were nabbed on Tuesday.
The accused have been identified as Nentu Naik and Basant Mahakul. While Nentu was nabbed by police near Khamar, Basant from a jungle area in Deogarh district.
Reportedly, taking advantage of the rain on Monday night, the duo had jumped off the boundary wall and escaped.
After receiving a complaint in this regard, Pallahara Police had started conducting raids at various places to nab them.
