Cuttack: Private Secretary of former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik and popular columnist Gour Mohan Sarangi passed away on Thursday night.
He was 87 and was suffering from old age-related ailments for a prolonged period of time.
Several distinguished persons visited Sarangi’s residence at Madanmohan Sahi of Tangi in Cuttack district to pay homage to the departed soul.
Sarangi, who was an Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officer had served as private secretary to Biju Patnaik from 1990 to 1993.
