Keonjhar: In a tragic incident, at least two persons were killed and three others sustained grievous injuries in a head-on collision between two bikes near Alughati under Harichandanpur police limits in Keonjhar today.
According to reports, five persons astride on two bikes coming from opposite directions collided head-on near Alughati.
While one person was killed on the spot, four others were seriously injured. Following the accident, the injured were rushed to Harichandanpur Community Health Centre (CHC).
Another person succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at the CHC.
The three other injured persons have been shifted to the SCB Medical College & Hospital at Cuttack as their health conditions worsened.
