Bhubaneswar: Following a dip in the inflow of floodwater into Hirakud Dam, four more sluice gates of the reservoir have been shut.
According to data shared by State Emergency Operations Centre (SEOC) at 3 PM today with the reservoir level remaining at 621.81 feet, the outflow has been recorded at 3,50, 026 cusecs through 20 sluice gates while the inflow into the reservoir has been recorded at 3,37,341 cusecs.
Similarly, the discharge at Khairmal at 3 PM today has been recorded at 6,30,000 cusecs, while that at Barmul has been recorded at 8,19,500 cusecs and 9,48,905 at Munduli in the Mahanadi system.
